Every Taylor Lane (Wales) project is managed by our contracts team, regardless of size or scale. You are guaranteed a dedicated point of contact both in the office and on-site.
Our experienced project managers, site supervisors, operations managers and construction managers are on-hand throughout the process – from order stage through to completion. Working with the commercial sales team they may also be involved during the sales process to gain an all-encompassing view of the project.
Project & Contracts Managers
Our project managers are predominantly office-based and carry out the day-to-day site management. Our site contracts team ensure that a contract is completed safely, on-time and that ultimately, the project is completed to a high standard before handing over to the client.
The contracts department manages erection contracts from order through to completion. Not only does this keep control of timescales and quality of output but our site presence also allows for daily health and safety management and the continual monitoring of our erection teams.
Every erecting team has a Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) approved supervisor.
Health & Safety
Taylor Lane (Wales) is committed to its health and safety responsibilities, from manufacture to erection. We create site specific risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) to enable safe site work for every contract that is undertaken. We have several appointed persons within the contracts team who are qualified to carry out crane risk assessments and lift plans.
All members of our contracts team are CSCS registered and within the department we have CPCS qualified lifting operations appointed persons and NEBOSH qualified personnel.
Every Taylor Lane (Wales) project has a dedicated project manager, separate to the contracts manager, who carry out the day-to-day site management. Every erecting team has a Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) approved supervisor.
Taylor Lane (Wales) is also fully compliant with the STA Site Safe Strategy, promoting fire safety within the UK timber frame construction industry.
Design & Development
We are committed to the continuous improvement of health and safety standards in the UK construction industry, through product development and innovation, and by working with leading industry bodies. Our in-house designers, working alongside our contracts and manufacturing teams, manage and design-out structural and erection issues, before they become a problem onsite.
